Annual Meeting

Member engagement is a key part of Girl Scouts of Northern California's strategy as we strive to honor the voice of our membership. Our governance system, which is comprised of elected or appointed delegates who serve as voting members of the council, is the main way for members to give input to our Board of Directors. All delegates should attend the Annual Meeting on May 21, 2023 to cast their votes and make their voices heard. Any member age 14+ also can attend the Annual Meeting as a non-voting member.

Annual Meeting 2023

Join us at this year's in-person Annual Meeting at Camp Bothin on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2-5pm. (Note: The meeting was changed from the original April 15 date.) The agenda will include discussions on this year's National Proposals, an update on the state of the council, bylaws amendment proposals, and the election of the Board slate. The Annual Meeting Workbook is attached below. Plus you can participate in an optional pre-meeting scavenger hunt (spoiler alert: it includes free ice cream before 1:30pm!) - check out the details in the below attachment.

Adult and youth members age 14+ are welcome to attend this free event. Registration has now closed.

Annual Meeting 2022 Recap

Our April 2022 Annual Meeting included an update on the state of the council and the election of the Board slate and National Delegates. Members and our Board learned together about allyship as an important way to nurture belonging for youth, and we learned about gender identity beyond the binary and how Girl Scouts can and should be an inclusive space for gender expansive youth. View our meeting recap and slide deck on gsCommunity or watch the recording here (passcode: &WPn&S#Z).
