Service Unit Planning Meeting

The Service Unit Planning Meeting (formerly known as Plan for Success, or PFS) is a meeting that service unit teams conduct annually in partnership with regional council staff, in May or June. The purpose of this meeting is to start planning for the upcoming Girl Scout year.

Each team is provided with their own 'Plan for Success' document to take notes and assist with the planning and documentation of a service unit's plan for the coming membership year. Items on the document include:

  • meeting schedule
  • team roster
  • planned and prospective events
  • troop and volunteer support
  • recruitment opportunities, budget, and more.

This year, Service Unit Teams only need to submit their team roster and SU & Team meeting schedule by June 30.

Service Unit Team Members should contact their local staff member to coordinate a date for the planning meeting and get the link to their planning resource.
