As you get ready to set out to support Girl Scout entrepreneurs with their Girl Scout Cookie Business, there are a few steps you need to take.

  • First, complete either the 636 New Troop Cookie Chair learning path or the 636 Experienced Troop Cookie Chair learning path in gsLearn, available December 15, 2023.
  • Next, to help troops along through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, GSNorCal is offering live webinars on Wednesday nights, at 6:00 pm, for just-in-time, in-depth training to support troops throughout the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
    • Although these webinars are optional, they are highly recommended. Make sure to register today! The live webinars will be recorded, in case you cannot attend. Past recorded webinars will be in the "What to Expect Next" module in each of the Cookie Chair learning paths.

Host an Entrepreneur and Family Meeting

With support and encouragement from their family, there’s no stopping a Girl Scout! Ensure that Girl Scouts have the support they need by hosting an Entrepreneur and Family Meeting. Sign up for your Booth Sale Sites

In mid-January, when you log into eBudde, you’ll be able to see the available booth sites, locations, and times by clicking on the “Booth Sale” tab. You’ll want to share this list with your troop leader, Girl Scouts, and families so that you can make a plan for the locations your troop would like to sign up for when the Booth Scheduler opens. Register today for a live webinar that will walk you through the steps to scheduling your booth sites and booth sale etiquette.

Initial order, troop initial order Delivery, and distributing product

Your Initial Order is the first order of cookies that your troop will order and have on hand to begin selling on Go Day, February 11. The cookie program is a direct sale, meaning your troop will need to estimate the amount of cookies that you’ll need to start the program. After you place your initial order you will pick up your product on the date and time you select in eBudde. Cookie Cupboards

Troops can get additional products from local cupboards to resupply ongoing entrepreneur sales and to stock up for booth sales. You can also exchange damaged products. There are no returns so only check out cookies that you know you can sell. Register today for a live webinar to learn more about working with your local cookie cupboard.

Managing Inventory

Managing the troop inventory is an ongoing process throughout the Girl Scout Cookie Program.  The goal for the troop is to sell all of their products within the program dates. Finalizing the Sale: Rewards & Celebration

At the end of the cookie program, you’ll need to confirm the rewards order in eBudde by reviewing and submitting the information on the Rewards tab. You will have to fill in the reward choices made by each entrepreneur.  And of course, don’t forget to celebrate entrepreneurs reaching their goals! Help them brainstorm ways to thank customers and share their stories!
