Service unit delegate nominations started on November 1 and run through November 30. Check how many delegates your service unit is eligible to send to Annual Meeting. according to our bylaws or reach out to your local staff member for more information. Any adult or youth member age 14 and older (by the end of elections in January) is eligible to nominate themselves (elections for contested races will happen in January).
Service unit delegates (age 14 and older by the end of elections in January) serve a one-year term as a key communication link between the GSNorCal Board of Directors and our youth and adult members. As a representative for their service unit and a voting member at GSNorCal’s Annual Meeting, delegates share feedback that they gathered from their service unit members about key topics and council strategy, provide input on our council’s strategy, vote on bylaws amendments, discuss national proposals, and elect the GSNorCal Board of Directors.
This position is a one-year term (no term limits) and a great leadership opportunity for adult and youth members age 14+.
