Council-Organized Trips
From local sights and landmarks to those around the world, Girl Scouts has an adventure opportunity for every type of traveler. Girl Scouts of Northern California offers annual trips for youth in the Cadette, Senior and Ambassador levels from around the council to travel together and experience new adventures. Special money earning, scholarship, and financial aid opportunities are available to youth travelers to help pay for their council-organized trips!
General Information
- Trips are open to Girl Scouts who will be Cadettes, Seniors, or Ambassadors (grades 6–12) at the time of travel.
- Girl Scouts can utilize Cookie Program reward cards to pay for part or all of their trip.
- All travelers need to have passports at least 110 days before they depart on their trip.
- Exclusive money-earning opportunities are available for youth signed up for council trips.
- Entire troops can enroll on a council trip.
- Financial Aid is available to youth who qualify.
- All dates listed are timelines that families should be flexible with, as the trips can be scheduled plus or minus 4 days of the requested dates

- Meet your tour director and check into hotel
- London city walk
- Thames River, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery visit, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, Leicester Square,
- Classic fish & chips dinner
Day 3 London
- London South Bank walking tour
- Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, Borough Market visit, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
- Shakespeare’s Globe Theater interactive workshop
- Optional Thames River cruise & London Eye excursion $55
Day 4 London
- Pax Lodge Girl Scouts Headquarter visit
- Pax Lodge Girl Scouts Headquarter pinning ceremony
- London guided sightseeing tour
- Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, St. Paul’s Cathedral
Day 5 London–Paris
- Eurostar Chunnel crossing
- Paris city walk
- Île de la Cité, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Île St. Louis, Latin Quarter
- Île de la Cité treasure hunt
- Dinner in Latin Quarter
Day 6 Paris
- Louvre visit
- Learn to play Pétanque with local players
- Seine River cruise
Day 7 Paris landmarks
- Paris guided sightseeing tour
- Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Opera House
- Optional Versailles guided excursion (pre-book only) $80
- State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, Gardens of Versailles
- Crêperie dinner
Day 8 Flight home from Paris
- Round-trip airfare
- 6 overnight stays (9 with extension) in hotels with private bathrooms
- Full European breakfast daily
- Dinner daily
- Full-time services of a professional tour director
- Guided sightseeing tours and city walks as per itinerary
- Visits to select attractions as per itinerary

- Note: On arrival day only dinner is provided; on departure day, only breakfast is provided
- Note: Tour cost does not include airline-imposed baggage fees, or fees for any required passport or visa. Optional excursions, optional pre-paid Tour Director and multi-day bus driver tipping, among other individual and group customizations will be listed as separate line items in the total trip cost, if included.
