Effective October 1, 2023 GSUSA and Mutual of Omaha have expanded the automatic coverage under Basic Plan 1 (member) insurance to include coverage for non-member participation and trips longer than two overnight stays. This means that you do NOT need to purchase additional insurance for tagalongs/nonmember adults participating in troop activities, or for domestic trips lasting longer than two nights.
