Who can purchase a Lifetime Membership? What does it cost?

  • Adults (30+ years old): $400
  • Young Alum (18-29 years old): $200
  • Adults (10+years in GS): $200 (new this year!)

How do I purchase a Lifetime Membership?

  • Primary Caregivers
    • Through MyGS Account
      • Login to your MyGS account and click on My Household.
      • Select Purchase Lifetime Membership for the person in your household or you can select this option at checkout when renewing.
      • Follow the prompts to complete and pay for your Lifetime membership. 
      • If your age (18-29) indicates you are a Young Alum or your years in Girl Scouts (10+) qualifies you for the 50% discounted Lifetime membership rate, you will be prompted with this option on the choose payment type section during your membership renewal.

    • With entrepreneur’s Council Credit:
  • Troop Leaders 
    Troop Leaders can purchase Lifetime memberships for graduating Ambassador Girl Scouts using troop funds if all girls agree.
    • Login to your MyGS account and click on  My Troops.
    • Select Purchase Lifetime Membership for the person in your troop or household or you can select this option at checkout when renewing.
    • Follow the prompts to complete and pay for your Lifetime memberships. 
    • Girls ages (18-29) qualify for the Young Alum Lifetime membership discounted rate of $200 and will be prompted with this option on the choose payment type section during your membership renewal.

Why are lifetime members asked to renew each year? 

While lifetime members do not have to pay their annual $25 membership dues, they have to renew their volunteer role to indicate how they will be participating. Find out more here:  Why do Lifetime Members Need to Renew?
