Service Unit Delegate nominations started on November 1 and run through November 30. Check how many delegates your service unit is eligible for according to our bylaws or reach out to your local staff member for more information. (This number is based on your girl membership last year, # of girls vs adults you can elect).
Any adult or youth member age 14 and older is eligible to nominate themselves online through November 30 (Elections will happen later on in January). Delegates have the opportunity to dive into fun discussions, vote on important issues, and help shape the future of GSNorCal—all while making new friends and creating unforgettable memories.
Service Unit Delegate Role
Service Unit Delegates are the main communication link between our members and GSNorCal’s Board of Directors. As a representative for your service unit, you’ll gather members’ feedback on key topics and council strategy (and share updates on council governance), provide input to the Board of Directors, elect council Board members, and participate in important discussions at the Annual Meeting on May 3, 2025 at Camp Bothin.
This position is a one-year term and a great leadership opportunity for adult and youth members age 14+.
