Take Action and community service projects are different, but both are essential to Girl Scouting. One focuses on an issue, the other focuses on the need. Take Action projects have the added feature of having sustainable solutions. Whereas community service projects can just be philanthropic actions. The overall effectiveness of a take-action project will be evident when reviewing the overall Output vs. Outcome the project results in.
