Camp CEO 2026: What to Expect 

Camp CEO is an application-based program designed to provide Girl Scouts with meaningful leadership and mentorship experience. Because space is limited, interested participants must submit an application to be considered for the program by September 2^nd, 2026.

Once you submit your application, a member of the Camp CEO team will review your information and contact you regarding the next steps, including your application status, registration details, and important information to help you prepare for camp.

To help make Camp CEO accessible to participants across Northern California, complimentary shuttle transportation will be available from select locations.  

Current shuttle pickup locations include: 

• Red Bluff Center 

• Eureka Office 

Additional pickup locations may be added based on participant interest and regional demand. If you are interested in one of these locations or another pickup location, please indicate this in your application. This information will help us evaluate transportation needs. 

If you plan to drive directly to Camp Bothin, detailed arrival instructions and parking information will be shared before the event. 

Shuttle schedules and details will also be provided closer to the event. 

When you arrive at Camp Bothin, our staff will welcome you and help you get checked in. You’ll receive your Camp CEO welcome materials, settle into your bunk, and meet fellow participants before the weekend officially begins. 

While everyone arrives, you’ll have an opportunity to decorate your Camp CEO canvas backpack, participate in welcome activities, and start getting to know other Girl Scouts before enjoying your first dinner together. 

One of the most unique parts of Camp CEO is spending the weekend with accomplished women leaders from a variety of professions and backgrounds. Throughout the weekend, you’ll hear inspiring career and leadership stories, explore different career paths, participate in small-group discussions, ask questions, receive advice, and build meaningful connections with mentors. 

Camp CEO combines leadership development with hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence. 

Throughout the weekend, you’ll participate in interactive workshops focused on: 

• Leadership development 

• Communication and teamwork 

• Career exploration 

• Personal growth 

• Networking with mentors 

• Small-group discussions and activities 

These experiences are designed to help you discover your strengths while learning practical skills you can use in school, your community, and your future career. 

Camp CEO wouldn’t be complete without the excitement of camp! 

Depending on your group’s schedule, activities may include: 

• Ropes Course 

• Archery and/or Slingshots  

• Creative crafts 

• Vision board activities 

• Swimming 

• Hammock and reading time 

• Campfire with s’mores 

• Team-building games and outdoor recreation 

These experiences encourage teamwork, resilience, and trying new things while enjoying everything Camp Bothin has to offer. 

You’ll stay in your own bunk in one of our historic buildings that feature dormitory-style living with other Girl Scouts and be supported throughout the weekend by trained Girl Scout staff. 

Camp life includes: 

• Sharing sleeping accommodations with fellow participants 

• Enjoying meals together in the dining hall 

• Spending time outdoors 

• Participating in group activities 

• Building friendships with Girl Scouts from across Northern California 

Living together creates a welcoming community where everyone is encouraged to support one another, step outside their comfort zone, and make lasting memories

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided throughout the weekend. 

If you indicated dietary restrictions or food allergies during your application, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. 

Please bring a reusable water bottle so you can stay hydrated throughout the weekend. 

Each participant will receive a Camp CEO welcome bag with a canvas backpack, notebook, folder, writing supplies, and personal hygiene essentials, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, face wipes, sunscreen, bug spray, and feminine hygiene products. 

The official Camp CEO T-shirt will be distributed during the Closing Ceremony as a special keepsake to celebrate your Camp CEO experience

To attend Camp CEO, interested Girl Scouts must complete the online application by September 2^nd, 2026.  Applications will be reviewed, and selected participants will receive instructions on how to complete their registration.  

Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities. Closed-toe shoes are required for outdoor adventures, and we encourage you to bring layers for cooler mornings and evenings. 

Participants will stay in their own bunk in one of our historic buildings that feature dormitory-style living at Camp Bothin. Lodging assignments will be shared upon arrival, and trained Girl Scout staff will be available throughout the weekend. 

Yes! We’ll do our best to accommodate requests when possible. Instructions for submitting requests will be shared before the event, but requests cannot be guaranteed. 

Yes. All meals and snacks throughout the weekend are included. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies submitted during registration. 

Shuttle transportation will be available from select locations for registered participants. Current pickup locations include the Red Bluff Center and the Eureka Office, with additional pickup locations that may be added based on participant interest and regional demand. Shuttle schedules and detailed instructions will be shared with registered participants before the event. Participants are also welcome to drive directly to Camp Bothin if preferred.

Yes! In addition to scheduled workshops and activities, you’ll have time to relax, connect with new friends, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Camp Both

Absolutely! Throughout the weekend, you’ll connect with women leaders through workshops, networking sessions, small-group discussions, and informal conversations. 

That’s perfectly okay! Many participants attend Camp CEO on their own. Icebreakers, team activities, and shared lodging experiences make it easy to meet new people and build lasting friendships. 

No problem! Camp CEO is all about exploring possibilities. You’ll meet women from a variety of professions who can help you discover new interests and career paths. 

We are committed to creating an inclusive experience for everyone. Please let us know about any accessibility, mobility, medical, dietary, or other accommodation needs before the event so we can make appropriate arrangements. 

Camp CEO takes place rain or shine. Some activities may be modified or moved indoors based on weather conditions. 

Yes. Photos and videos may be taken throughout the weekend for Girl Scouts of Northern California promotional and marketing purposes. Photo permissions will be honored according to your registration. 

To help participants fully immerse themselves in the Camp CEO experience, parent and guardian visits are not permitted during the weekend except in the case of an emergency.
