Training
Troop Cookie Chair Training is now live! To ensure you gain access to Troop Cookie Chair Training in gsLearn, please ensure that you are properly rostered as the Troop Cookie Chair in MyGS. If you are, training will appear on your dashboard in gsLearn. If you are having trouble locating it, make sure to check both the “Not Started” and the “In-Progress” tab. The training will appear in the “In-Progress” tab if you have already completed Mandated Reporter training. You must complete either the 636 New Troop Cookie Chair 2025 or 636 Experienced Troop Cookie Chair 2025 based on your experience with the cookie program.
Once your Troop Cookie Chair Training is complete you will be granted access to Smart Cookies beginning January 6. Uploads to Smart Cookies will continue to happen every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter. You must complete training before 12pm the day prior to upload, in order to be uploaded on Tuesday or Thursday (If you complete training Monday before noon, you will be uploaded by Tuesday EOD). If you need help with getting properly rostered contact our main line at 800-447-4475, email us at info@gsnorcal.org and request support from customer service. You can also visit the article Where can I access my Cookie Training? for instructions on updating or role in MyGS.
Care to Share
Care to Share is a community give-back project where entrepreneurs collect monetary donations toward the purchase of cookie packages for local organizations, such as food banks, military organizations, or hometown heroes. The council purchases the items to donate and distribute at the end of the program.
