Our Properties

Girl Scouts of Northern California is home to eleven properties located throughout Northern California. Experience the adventure of cooking out, sleeping in a cabin or tent, gazing at the stars, or learning about nature. Each council site offers something unique, from old growth redwoods and the Pacific coast to trails that have sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay.

Property Reservation Window

For Troops and Service Units renting individual units:

  • Reservations open on a 6-month rolling basis at 10am. (185 days from your date of departure. For example, if you wish to depart on September 15, you can start making reservations on March 14)

For Service Units renting Entire Site: 

Please fill out this Property Request Form during the appropriate reservation window.

Service Unit Priority Property Reservation Request Form

  • For reservations December 1 – February 28 request forms will be accepted May 1 – May 15. Permits will be sent out by June 1.
  • For reservations March 1 – May 31 request forms will be accepted August 1 – August 15. Permits will be sent out by September 1.
  • For reservations June 1 – August 31 request forms will be accepted November 1 – November 15. Permits will be sent out by December 1.
  • For reservations September 1 – November 30 request forms will be accepted February 1 – February 15. Permits will be sent out by March 1.

Property Reservation FAQ’s

Who can rent GSNorcal properties?Girl Scout members in and out of GSNorCal council, and non-profit groups serving youth. To qualify as a GSNorCal group and receive GSNorCal rental rates, the group must be comprised of at least 60% current or lifetime GSNorCal members.All non-profit organizations serving youth must provide proof of liability insurance coverage of up to 1 million dollars and name Girl Scouts of Northern California as an additional insured. 
Do I have to rent an entire site?Smaller groups can plan their own special trips by renting unit areas within the larger site, and service units and large groups may rent entire campsites for their events. Non-Profits serving youth must rent the entire site. We are not able to do partial site rentals to Non-Girl Scout groups.
Do I have to pay a deposit?Yes, all groups pay a 20% non-refundable reservation deposit at the time of check out. The remaining balance on your reservation is then due 30 days prior to your trip.
Can my group exceed the stated capacities for sites?No. Day use and overnight capacities at each site are based on several factors, including American Camping Association safety standards, and may not be exceeded.
Where can I find out what the rental fee and availability is for each property?Each property’s webpage includes a link to Active, our reservation system, where you can view available dates. 
How will I know if my reservation has been accepted?Online reservations will be confirmed soon after your request and you will receive an email receipt confirmation after the reservation has been approved.
