Girl Scout Insurance
Effective October 1, 2025, GSUSA and Mutual of Omaha have expanded the automatic coverage under basic Plan 1 (member) insurance to include coverage for non-member participation, trips lasting longer than two overnight stays, and international travel assistance. This means that there is no longer a need for troops and service units to purchase additional insurance coverage for any trips or travel as long as all participants including non-member youth and adults are included on the trip roster.
