Troop Banking
Each Troop that participates in Entrepreneurship Program is required to open a checking account. Savings accounts are permitted on a case-by-case basis, but troops may not use GSNORCAL tax ID to for credit/debt purposes. The form below is for requests to open a Girl Scout troop bank account or change signers. Please do not go directly to a financial institution to make requests. Only Girl Scouts of Northern California troop bank accounts opened at US Bank through this process are free of monthly service fees. Any fees associated with accounts created outside the process will not be covered by GSNORCAL. When approved by the banking team you will receive a next steps email including your authorization documents.
