Girl Scouts who wish to be philanthropic with their reward options can donate to the GSNorCal Opportunity Fund. The Opportunity Fund ensures that every Girl Scout can participate fully in the experiences that make Girl Scouts life-changing, no matter their circumstances. When a Girl Scout chooses to donate her cookie rewards to the Opportunity Fund, she is investing in her sister Girl Scouts across Northern California
The Opportunity Fund helps cover:
- Program fees, including but not limited to camp sessions, STEM programs, leadership experiences, travel, and more.
- Transportation support so girls can get safely to camp or events.
- Essential gear like backpacks, sleeping bags, or uniforms so every Girl Scout is prepared.
- Girl Scouts who choose this option will earn the Sisterhood Supporter patch, a special recognition of their leadership and generosity.
